My cyber mantle is filling up with all these awards!

So, Girly Stuff bestowed two awards on to me this week! She said something about me deserving these awards because I have been quiet over here on my blog! I have had reason though, I have been busy! I do have a lot to blog about lately, but I haven't made the time! So come back later to see what I have been up too! Anyway. . .

Here are the rules: These blogs are exceedingly charming. These kind bloggers aim to find and be friends. They are not interested in self-aggrandizement. Our hope is that when the ribbon of these prizes are cut, even more friendships are propagated. Please give more attention to these writers. Deliver this award to eight bloggers who must choose eight more and include this cleverly-written text into the body of their award.

The Lemonade Stand Award is presented to people with a good attitude or sense of gratitude. However, it comes with a few rules. Recipients are asked to post the award on your blog, nominate 10 other blogs and link to them. Send some love back to the person who bestowed the award on you by telling them who you gave it to you and posting a link to their site. Let your nominees know that they've received the award.

So, just like my lovely Girly Stuff, I am rolling both awards into one post so I can save on time and get to posting what has been going in my prissy world lately!

The Gresham Barn Sale & Cookie Crumbs

Time and time again I have referred to the "Barn Sale" when telling you where I have gotten some of my favorite home decor. The Gresham Barn Sale happens twice a year in this area. It is in the Spring and in the Fall. It only lasts for 3 days! I love it! This mom and daughter host it every time in their families barn! It's a ton of fun! Well, I went again. This time I found something for my sweet tooth.

These two ladies that host the sale in their barn, allow antique vendors to have a booth and also, a there are usually a few rare vendors that offer tasty treats! There is this lady locally that makes these fabulous cookies they are beautiful and not only are they beautiful, they are HUGE and soft too! If you like Cookie Bouquet, they put those cookies to shame. Here is the best part! These flower cookies you see above are only. . . $1.00 each! I know you are in shock! Pick your jaw up for this next info, most all of her custom cookies are under $2.00! They are all adorable! Check out her Cookie Crumbs designer cookies to see how cute they all are!
Oh, and maybe you are wondering if I found me any sassy treasures for my house. . . I sure did but maybe I will share them another time :)

T-Ball Couture

I couldn't help but take a picture of this at E.T. & Baby Girl's first t-ball game! In my opinion there are so many things wrong in this picture on so many different levels! First of all we live in a day and age where we do not travel by horse anymore everywhere we go! So, why would someone need to wear spurs in public anyway! Secondly, he has his pants tucked in his cute little decorative boots! Maybe someone forgot to tell him that he wasn't wearing UGGs! I guess he is wanting us to see the nice design on the top of them or maybe he's a little brokeback? Lastly, he is wearing them to a t-ball game for crying out loud! I know anything goes these days, but really??? So, what is your idea of t-ball couture? I guess you can tell mine is definitely not cowboy boots or at least not cowboy boots with spurs!!! All I can say is only in East Texas!!
